I have always been a maker. As a kid, I built things out of whatever I could find. Usually legos and cardboard, sometimes it involved digging a large hole in the backyard. Whatever the tool, I have always felt a need to be making or fixing something. Over the years, this has led to a huge collection of finished projects and an even larger collection of unfinished projects.
Trapezio’s Trinkets initially started out as a way to get rid of some of these projects. I started selling a few things to friends and they suggested that I open a shop. After a while, I decided to try it. I have since learned everything I can about running a small business and how to be successful at it. I love the challenge and the freedom of running my little shop. I enjoy that I get to do everything on it, even though sometimes it is a never-ending list of things to do.
Over the last 3 years, I have expanded my skills and learned new things that I enjoy making. I have added my mother as a fellow maker and helped her sell some of her artwork. I have added an Instagram page, with the help of a talented social media manager. I am excited for the new projects and new experiences to come!
